Kevin Grossman is a drummer, percussionist, producer, engineer, composer, arranger, instrument maker, and instructor based out of Asbury Park, NJ. He is the creator of the Sun Lab Studio, the solar powered mobile recording studio featured on PBS in the 2015 episode of Driving Jersey, “Live from the Sun”.
Having a bachelors degree in Jazz Studies from the Hartt School of Music, Grossman has studied privately with Jason Rullo, Eric McPherson, Rogerio Boccato, and Tony Leone.
Voted 2015’s Top Drummer at the Asbury Park Music Awards, Grossman works with a diverse and eclectic group of bands from the area, including Karmic Juggernaut, We Used to Cut the Grass, and the Homeless Apians.
When he isn’t traveling and performing, Grossman works as a private instructor, as an accompanist for modern dance, and as a producer at his recording studio in Wall, NJ.
